“We offer Long Island’s best aftercare service, including the cremation of your beloved pets.”

Although it’s uncomfortable to think about, as a pet owner you have to one day consider how you would like your pet’s body to be preserved.

Rainbow Bridge Hospice Care has partnered with a local and family-owned crematorium that is dedicated to preserving the dignity of your pet.

We will guide you through the process of making cremation preparation and arrangements that are suitable for you and your pet. Your beloved pet will be treated with dignity and respect.

We also understand your needs and our experience will help you through this difficult time in your life. At Rainbow Bridge Hospice Care, we offer two different types of pet cremation: private cremation and communal cremation.

Private cremations provide you with the assurance to keep your pet’s cremated remains as your personal remembrance.

Private cremations ensure that only one animal is cremated at a time in the cremation chamber.

This may be more expensive than other methods, but it guarantees that you receive only the ashes of your pet after the cremation process is thoroughly finished.

We know how important it is for you to keep the memory of your companion pet close to your heart. With communal cremation, your pet is cremated in the crematory chamber together with several other pets.

When you choose communal cremation, your pet’s cremated remains are not returned to you. However, we can help you memorialize your pet with our personalized clay paw print as an everlasting memory.

If communal cremation is performed, the remains are carefully placed at Fields of Dreams burial grounds at Regency Forest Pet Memorial Park.

“At Rainbow Bridge, we offer everything from in-home pet euthanasia, mobile veterinarian services, to pet cremation service.”

If your pet is reaching his or her last days, consider contacting Rainbow Bridge Hospice Care, Long Island, NY. At Rainbow Bridge, we offer everything from in-home pet euthanasia, mobile veterinarian services, to pet cremation service.

Our in-home pet hospice care allows veterinarians to visit your home to tend to your pet in his or her last days, instead of you bringing your pet into a hospital setting. For some pets, veterinarian offices are stressful and unwelcoming places.

In these cases, it is often more comfortable for a pet to receive hospice care, prescription medications, and even euthanasia in the home. This can also make it easier on grieving or stressed family members as well.

We recognize that saying goodbye to a beloved pet can be incredibly difficult–they are members of your family!

Contact us at any time to help make this transition smoother, and we will assist you in making the decision that is best for your pet and family.
